Cancuns newest resort, Paws Up, will open its doors to the public on April 28.
The resort, which is located in Lake Tahoe, has been built on the shores of the Pacific Ocean and boasts a pool, sauna, poolside bar and bar-restaurant.
The resort is the brainchild of local entrepreneur, Cancuna, and will be the first in the country to be built on an island.
Paws Up is the first resort to be designed and built on a reclaimed lakebed.
The development is part of a plan to reclaim the lakebeds that are polluted with industrial runoff.
Paw Up Resort was designed by renowned architect, Murali Chatterjee.
The island resort will feature a pool and sauna on the second floor and a bar-stand in the upper levels.
The restaurant will feature local cuisine, local wine, local beers and local spirits.
The hotel will be located in the resort and features a rooftop pool with a view of the lake.
The hotel will also include a hotel poolside, saunas, sauns and a sauna area for guests to relax.
The Resort will feature four villas with the hotel, one of which will be named ‘Paws.’
The first floor will feature one guest room and two guest bedrooms.
The second floor will include one guest bedroom, two guest rooms and a guest bath.
The third floor will have two guest bedroom suites and one guest bathroom.
The fourth floor will be home to a spa, a saunade, a gym and a gymnasium.
The spa and gym will feature water sports equipment and massage and relaxation equipment.
The sauna will feature an indoor pool and a heated spa area.
The bar-stamp bar will be open for patrons to enjoy their favourite beverages.
Cancun Resort will open to the general public on Saturday, April 30.
It is expected to open to international guests on May 6.
